A few weeks ago a church member suggested that we have a new member's desk reference set of books that we want all new members of our church to read.
Here is what we have so far:
1. "Stop Dating the Church" by Joshua Harris
2. "Christian Beliefs" by Wayne Grudem
3. "The Peacemaker" by Ken Sande
4. "The Pilgrim's Progress" by John Bunyan.
Our church is a reading church and there are many more books that I can recommend. However this selection is a good starter set for a new member. The books are simple, pointed, and very helpful.
