Patience with Others

Last night and today a Christian Ministry found itself with an email problem. Somehow hundreds of emails were sent out from their ministry to their subscribers. I received well over 100 from them myself.

This was, for me, another reminder of how challenging the world of technology really is.

The error on the part of this ministry evoked the anger of many of the recipients of the mass emailing. The impatience of many Christians was obvious and others simply took the opportunity to unsubscribe.

Though, I am not a supporter of that ministry--I do sympathize with them in their present plight. Technological errors will be made. It may inconvenience others. However, lessons can be learned. I learned a lot by reading the responses.

Therefore, I chose not to unsubscribe at this time. The folks there have had a tough night and morning. Let us give them a break and pray for them. I hope others will do the same for me.
